This is lovely. If anyone started a blog that featured sun rise progression shots in various locations all over the world, I would totally visit it. Different contributors could post images of their respective dawns all over the world.
I think you should kick it off in Pittsburgh. (Even though this would require a lot of early rising photographers...)
I think Tess has a great idea there, and it will probably be done soon if someone hasn't thought of it yet. As far as a cool place to see a sunrise, go to the top of flagstaff hill over at Schenley Park and you will see something beautiful. If you run or anything that is a good excuse go.
Not that I encourage pre-dawn rising, but maybe you could find some great location and do another sunrise series. Or maybe a sunsetting series!
